Ps 46:1 God is our refuge and strength

Ps 22:15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd, And my tongue cleaves to my jaws;

And You lay me in the dust of death.

Ps 38:9-11 Lord, all my desire is before You; And my sighing is not hidden from You.

10 My heart throbs, my strength fails me; And the light of my eyes, even that has gone from me.

11 My loved ones and my friends stand aloof from my plague; And my kinsmen stand afar off.

Ps 37:39 But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord;

He is their strength in time of trouble.

Strength through God’s word

Isa 40:28-31 Do you not know? Have you not heard?

The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth

Does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable.

29 He gives strength to the weary, And to him who lacks might He increases power.

30 Though youths grow weary and tired, And vigorous young men stumble badly,

31 Yet those who wait for the Lord Will gain new strength;

They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired,

They will walk and not become weary.
